This is the largest and most changinging section of the site. Here you will either find things you love, or find out that I've gone totally mad :)

This is because over the last few years I've began to get increasingly interested in industrial design and collecting has become a bit of an obsecion. Particularly with a few items, like calculators and clocks, and usually from a few manufacturers like Braun and Olivetti. Great design and yet popular and accessible to many.

More and more I have learned that my apresiation was no chance. The artifacts produced over the last few decades that I collect and sale, owe their design to the contributions of very famous designers, such as Dieter Rams, Hans Gugelot, Raymond Loewy and many others.

Today this "liking" of objects, including watches, clocks, calculators, lighters, ashtrays, fans and even some kitchen appliances, shaving machines and flashlights, have become a small passion. One that I feed regularly at garage sales, Internet auctions, donations from friends and just about every place where I can put my hands on something and say "Coooool, I want that!"

Of course, there is more to it than just the satisfaction of buying something. I like to learn from what I pick up. I would love it if the talent (and naiveness) of those creators would rub-off on me as I look, clean and sometimes repair these objects.

Also, I believe that the good quality and sometimes wonderfully "crazy" objects of every day life of the mid and late 1950's to date, are the very valuable collectibles of tomorrow. Some have already showed this to be a fact, like the ashtrays designed by Ettore Sottsass for the line Synthesis of Olivetti, which can fetch several hundred dollars as exponents of Memphis design.

This is how I consider purchasing this items "an investment". One in which I look for "deals" and then sell them to you, the interested buyer, at a price that I consider "market value" and that will continue to rise.

Please understand, I do not do this as a business but as a hobby and what I get from what I sell goes right back on keeping this wonderful works from the trash cans of the world.
